Alumaq has been offering solutions for Welding and Cutting since 1975 when, in order to provide equipments for the needs of the time, it started its initiatives making available welding equipments for clientes through rental. With the increase of demand for products and services related to rental but also to welding, the company started to amplify its offering of options and started to work with important partners, Brazilian and worlwide suppliers of equipments and consumables for welding and cutting. Now, we have more than 40 years of tradition and knowledge to ensure you are going to receive the best in the welding and cutting segments, and related products.

“Aprendiz Legal”: Partnership that works

The inclusion of the “Jovem Aprendiz” (Young Apprentice) at Alumaq, in partnership with CIEE (Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola), was one of our biggest steps in the search for young professionals for the job market. In the experience of the “Aprendiz Legal”, the Young becomes responsible as an agent of the development of his own career, and as a colaborator in the company which has received him.

The inclusion of the “Jovem Aprendiz” (Young Apprentice) at Alumaq, in partnership with CIEE (Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola), was one of our biggest steps in the search for Young professionals for the job market. In the experience of the “Aprendiz Legal”, the Young becomes responsible as an agent of the development of his own career, and as a colaborator in the company which has received him. His energy, his creativity, his audacidy, ans his tendency to questions are channeled to renew ideas, structures and processes. Our goal is to teach and help these youngs for them to become capacitaded professionals, stimulating autonomy and productivity. Nowadays we have three young apprentices, but we intend to expand this number to assist more youngs from the program.

3rd Sector: Focusing in the Education of Campinas

The “Nova Jerusalém” Social Service is a non-governamentalorganization, founded in July 1991 for the children and teenagers cared in Jardim Novo Flamboyant neighborhood and others nearby. Focusing on the 3rd sector, Alumaq’s team and the ONG are part of an important partnership focusing on the Social Education in Campinas. Through two programs: Children Education (with children from 3 to 6 years old) and Social Protection as “Coexisting and Strenhthening Bond” (with children from 6 to 14 years old), the entity reaches to about 300 children and teenagers from low income families, and some in extreme poverty situation or social vulnerability. The ONG’s projects and workshops have as goal to offer to children and teenagers the knowledge and valorization of their cultural identity acting in the cognitive, physical and social areas. Besides that, each one of them receives the opportunity to practice sports, art and culture. They have access to basic education, two daily meals, dental services, meetings with the family and community, and educational tours.
